Hanok Village Jeonju Bibimbap participated in Korean-Myanmar Business Partnership Expo, September 4 in Yangon, Myanmar. Since 2018, Hanok Village Jeonju Bibimbap has concentrated on expanding the brand overseas and participated in expos in Southeast Asian like Vietnam and Malaysia.
"We are attending the expo and meeting with potential business partners across the world," Hyun Ki Kim, CEO of the company, adds "It was a great opportunity to grow our brand as well as create a networking platform with international and local players."
The company had meetings with four local businesses that are highly interested in Korean food. It has discussed with them to find more partners and opportunities for both players' plans.
Company plans call for concluding an MOU with a Malaysia business, Cravito Group Sdn Bhd, by the end of 2019. By the end of 2020, they are aiming for 20 franchises across the world.
